Use carpet thread and a long doll needle and go from one arm to the next fasten off and do the same with the legs. For the arms don't fill all the way up. Now where the filling stops sew across that part to keep the filling from moving about. Tuck in the tops of the arms so it wont show raw edges then hold the arms against the body and pin you can tell at the point how they will hang. Samm also gave you a great suggestion about picking out prints. Jess video is great I can't wait to see your Anne I'm going to make one also
Peace and Blessings
Cheryl..Snatch JOY~!Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15290634366451220947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1810532143622838469.post-45586262425846099982010-01-28T07:16:07.380-08:002010-01-28T07:16:07.380-08:00Hi, Carla,

I think the larger doll with her arms outstretched looks like she is wanting a hug! Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit at Bunny Cottage! These are good...I will share as I have not been making dolls that long, you do get better and learn new tricks each time you make another...I am anxious for your next ones...Here is a tip that works for me..when choosing fabrics try to find very small prints, they are more to scale for the size dolls we are making...it certainly works for me...ok what next>? blessings madame samm...Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456305568995973018noreply@blogger.com
