I had about a million ideas for my project but was having a little trouble with the shape of a cat that I wanted to use, but then loving blogland as I do I found the most wonderful cat shapes!!!!  Hilary Florence's Nine Lives Quilt!!!!!  She gave me permission to use her idea for the cat shape!!!!  She is very sweet and an excellent quilter and artist!!!!  Thanks Hilary!!!!
I wound up with lots of issues...my sewing machine is trying to die....so sad!!!  But all and all I had lots of fun, learned a lot of things not to do anymore...get done in time to take daylight pics!!!!  Even with all the problems....
I love it!!!!
This is it during the daylight before all the issues!!!!!!

I call my quilting A Wiggle and A Giggle!!!!!  Well!!!!!  You gotta laugh!!!!!  It was very fun to do!!!!!  My poor cat has a screen door tail...you know crooked from being hit with the screen door!!!!!   Her name is Tricksie and she will be out sweetly scaring those who don't like black cats to cross their paths!!!!  Me!!!! I love Black Cats!!!!   Have a safe and wonderful Halloween!!!!!!   hugs

I lost a machine too (I have two others) - must have been the black cat thing. BUT I love black cats - Moe would be so happy. I think she is just too cute and way to stay with it.

Haha...I love the name of your quilt! It's adorable and perfectly suits it's name. I had a black cat named Shadow who would sneak into other people's houses through their doggy doors. He freaked out a few of our neighbor's dogs!

I love your quilt and black cats. I have a twelve year old named Skeezer that I found as a kitten at the local gas station. Many tried to catch him and trap him but I was the only one who he would let touch him. The day before Halloween he hopped in my car, curled up on my lap and refused to leave. That's the day he became a member of the household.

Love your quilt, and the kitty's tail reminds me of what happened to one that I had! Sewing machines and computers always know when to mess with your life, lol. Thank you for sharing.

Your quilt is adorable with the black cat. In my childhood there was a lovely black cat in the family and I love black cats too.
Sad thing with a dying sewing machine, sometimes it is like a family member.
Have in spite of that a great week and there are always neat machines in the market.

So sad about your machine. It always seems like Murphy's Law attacks while power sewing for a deadline. Your quilt is really darling. My grandmother would have said--"Its the cat's meow!" lol.

Trixie is adorable and I love the name you gave your darling quilt. Too fun! Sewing machines always pick the most inopportune moments to act up, don't they?

I can sympathize with your sewing machine issues. I have one that makes a terrible sound but the mechanic says just use it till it dies and then replace the motor. What an adorable quilt. I love the bright colors. So glad you persevered through all the "issues"!
