You silly girl ... no stress! Take a look at my blog, regarding my Wicked post ... the block I have there ... the center is cut from a panel and I added strips to the outside. How simple is that???? It looks cool but is sweetly, easy! Enjoy getting wicked!

I would say piecing would be easier for a beginner...cant wait to see all the cute stuff...so many good blog hops coming up!

Piecing. I stink at Appliqué ;)

You are adorable! But, I would suggest non-applique for your first "hop" tutorial. I can't wait to see what wicked-ness you come up with! Thanks for visiting my Dots blog yesterday! It was fun!

Carla, there are easy applique methods, particularly raw edge applique. But the prep work (cutting all the pieces) takes more time than simply piecing a block, I think. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I think it depends on the beginner. But it's just one block -- try a couple of ideas and see which one you love most!
