I had about a million ideas for my project but was having a little trouble with the shape of a cat that I wanted to use, but then loving blogland as I do I found the most wonderful cat shapes!!!!  Hilary Florence's Nine Lives Quilt!!!!!  She gave me permission to use her idea for the cat shape!!!!  She is very sweet and an excellent quilter and artist!!!!  Thanks Hilary!!!!
I wound up with lots of issues...my sewing machine is trying to die....so sad!!!  But all and all I had lots of fun, learned a lot of things not to do anymore...get done in time to take daylight pics!!!!  Even with all the problems....

I love it!!!!

I call my quilting A Wiggle and A Giggle!!!!!  Well!!!!!  You gotta laugh!!!!!  It was very fun to do!!!!!  My poor cat has a screen door tail...you know crooked from being hit with the screen door!!!!!   Her name is Tricksie and she will be out sweetly scaring those who don't like black cats to cross their paths!!!!  Me!!!! Have you heard about the chicken run?!!!! Oh sew fun!!!!  Avis at Oh Sew Tempting started The Chicken Run and Chickens have been flying around the world!!!!  Be sure to visit Avis at her blog above!!!!  My Little Chick Lucky flew all the way from Delaware USA!!!!!  When she got here she said her wings were so tired and she took a little nap right away!!!  She told me her name was Lucky now....because she had to fly over soooo many Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants that she was just sure she would never make it to my house and then when she got here there was a Black Cat Crossing the street in front of my house...she said she started to just turn around and go the other way...but poor Lucky was just too tired from her trip!!!!  Mary at Stitching Grandma sent Lucky to me I had been trying to get a little chick to come here to Kentucky but I think they were a little worried until Mary sent me Lucky!!!!  Thanks Mary!!!!  Visit Mary at the link above to enjoy her fun blog!!!  Here is a pic of Sweet Little Lucky!!!!

Bebe Babies and Sewjo Saturday!!!!

                                   

                                                                     Hi!!!!  See the tiny little bunny!!!! Isn't she adorable!!!!!   Do you know Casie of Bebe Babies!!!!  She makes the most adorable dolls!!!!  This I believe is her smallest size!!!!  Two inches counting the ears!!!!! She would be cute as a pin or on a headband or a cute little Easter wreath, which is probably where mine will be in her little egg!!!!  Casie makes dolls of different sizes and all price ranges!!!!  All of them more than worth the prices she charges!!!! Making babies this small is really a lot of work!!!!  Some are made safely for children to love!!!!  Casie has started a fan club where she will have fun give aways and specials for members!!! This little project!!!! Did I say little!!!!  Well,  it is not that little, it is a nice size!!!!  This is my Triangle Quilt Along quilt so far!!!!! Triangle Quilt Along!!!!!!

                                 
Hi Everyone!!! This is an update on my Quilt for the Triangle Quilt Along!!!!! Sassy Quilter!!!!! Triangle Quilt Along   See how green the grass is getting!!!!!!!  Lovin it!!!!! It was 70 degrees today!!!!! And not one drop of rain!!!!!  It took me a long time to come up with a layout I liked for these triangles!!!!! I used fabrics I already had and I didn't have the Mod Pop colors many are using for this!!!!!  Sooooo I wanted a different layout!!!!! Now if I could quit sewing the wrong ends to the other wrong ends this might turn out pretty!!!!!!   In my dreams it works!!!!!! Ha!!!!!  I am behind on almost everything!!!!!  Correction!!!! I am behind on everything!!!!  Hope you are getting great weather and have a great day!!!!!!  hugs to all

Cat Patches

Hi Everyone!!!!! Been a busy month and it is already April!!!! I know I am going to turn around and it will be Christmas!!!! I just know it!!!!  Do the years seem like they keep going faster!!!! Or is that old age?!!!!  I wish it would slow down!!!!! I am spinning!!!!!  But some fun along the way!!!!!  Well I am good at starting things!!!!!!  In March I started on a Crazy Quilt Block!!!!! I did the March block in two different Christmas Quilt Alongs!!!!!  I did make two more scarves I haven't taken picures of yet!!!!!  They are so easy and take so little time!!!!  Still only got two done!!!!  I will share pictures here and all the links are in my sidebars!!!!!  All of the Buttons I have on my side bars are to blogs where there is always some fun going on!!!!!  Believe Me!!!!!  Go look!!!!!! Triangle Quilt Along!!!!!! 204+ Triangles!!!!

That was a lot of Triangles!!!! Yes!!!!!  The bottom photo is the better of the two!!!!!!  These are for The Triangle Quilt Along at  Sassy Quilter!!!!!  Paula says that you can join in at anytime and everyone is really having FUN!!!!!  I am not sure how these will be sewn together yet!!!!!  I can see I would want to rearrange them some!!!!  I will be playing with them for awhile!!!!!  Come on and jump in!  the water is warm!!!!!

To Do Tuesday!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!!!! I think I have finally joined in enough projects to keep me busy for awhile!!!!!!  Maybe!!   I really like to be creative!!!!!  So if you want a To Do List for Tuesdays this is it!!!!!!

Monday is always a catch up on everthing from over the weekend!!!!!  Mostly because two little people get all the attention on weekends!!!!!  So I am never ready for a Monday to do list!!!!!  So here is my hopefull list for the next week!!!!
Continue cutting 204 triangles
 for the Triangle Quilt Along!!!! Button on side bar!!!!
Start on 2 Boms of month also both are on side bar!!!!
Work on my Delightful Star blocks!!!! Guess where the button is!!!!!!
One more I have to do some stitching on my Crazy Quilt block!!!!!

What A Hoot!!!!!

What a week!!!!!  I am linking up with Sewjo Saturday and What a Hoot!!!!   I have been very busy this week and don't have a lot to share!!!!! But I do have a little!!!!!  Anyway I always have fun!!!!  I have these two little trees which gave me a run for my money...but still fun to do!!!! It will be awhile before I make a whole quilt with the slice and insert method!!!!!!  These are the March blocks at Love Laugh Quilt!!!!!

A MoMo moment!!!!! This is my gran daughter Aubrianna and her Mommy Amber!!!!  

These are the fabrics I have chosen to use for the Triangle Quilt Along at Sassy Quilter!!!!!  I don't have mine cut yet!!!!!   Eeeeks!!!!

And I said I didn't have much to share this week!!!!!

Well....I am not done yet!!!!!

Here is my stitching so far on the CQ Block I am doing in a class by Kathy Shaw!!!!! I am really learning so much I think my head is bigger....not my brain just the head!!!!  Gotta let you all know I ordered my Crazy Quilting supplies from Thearica at Crazy Quilting Supplies!!!! I ordered late on a Friday night and my order was here on Monday!!!!!  I don't know how she did it that fast!!!!!  You can also find her blogging at Pigtales and Quilts!!!!!

And one more thing!!!! Or five more things!!!!! Aren't these little babies too sweet!!!!!  They were born in my Moms garage!!!!  Moma cat was't too happy with me taken pictures!!!!!  But she was better when I walked away!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!! Are you having a good weekend??  Hope that you are!!!!!  Have an adventure today!!!!!  Make whatever you do FUN!!!!! It is warmer in Ky today!!!! No Snow..No Rain!!!! The sun is shining!!!! It feels like an old friend that I haven't seen for sometime!!!!  HELLO SUNSHINE!!!! Ok!!! I am going CRAZY but not off my rocker yet!!!!!!  I joined a free class in crazy quilting!!!! The class is being given by Kathy Shaw of  http://www.shawkl.com/!!!  She makes the most beautiful creations!!!!  So we are doing a block!!!!  My first block the neutral tan I had used was just too dark!!!!!  So I went on to block number 2!!!  Block number one will be for practice!!!!  Kathy will be offering  more classes so if interested keep checking in!!!!!  More    more   more below these pics!!!!

This is the block she is teaching us!!!!  It is so pretty!!!!  This particular class is for the very beginner!!!!  Like me!!!!  I ordered my supplies from Thearica Pigtales and Quilts!!!!    Her crazy quilting shop is Crazy Quilting Supplies     You will also see her button on the left side column!!!! Thearica has very beautiful supplies!!!! Wonderful eye candy!!!!!  I placed my order late friday night and had my little beauties in my hand on Monday!!!!  Wow!!! Where did February go to?!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!!!!  Feb was short wasn't it!!!!!  Maybe the snow...snow....and snow made it seem shorter!!!!  Well I did get a few things done!!!!!  I love it when I find time to work on something!!!!  Above is the second block in the Christmas Mystery Quilt at LoveLaughQuilt!!!!!  So much fun!!!!! It is mostly improv so even though it is wonky!!!! And it is Wonky!!!! It is ok!!!!!  Wow!!!!  My sister dropped by one day and said  Did you know your roof was lopsided!!!!  Why Yes!!!! Yes I did!!!!  I did it that way!!!!  She looked so confused but since I am the goofy one in the family she thought I was joking!!!! So I did explain!!!!  I really didn't do it on purpose but I am ok with it and it is growing on me!!!!  I am also a big fan of WhoVille!!!!  So not so far out!!!!  I have had a busy Feb and I am so happy about it!!!!!  I crocheted a scarf...but really easy crocheted!!!  Had it done in under 2 hours and I will be glad to show and tell anyone who would like to make one!!!!  My little models strangely aren't right here for this photo!!!!  Now my other creations this month are shown in previous posts!!!! So I will just show the photos and you can go read more about them!!!!!
